TurboGrafx-16 / PC Engine
NEC's underrated console with arcade-quality games.
Overview
The TurboGrafx-16 (1987, called PC Engine in Japan) was technically impressive but never caught on in the West. It excels at shooters and has the first CD-ROM add-on for consoles. Bonk, R-Type, Ys, and many great imports.
